What forum softwares have you used in the past and whic one made best impresion on you (next to MyBB)?

I've tried Phpbb2, Phpbb3, vBulletin and tried to make my own forum with my php knowledge, but it didn't go as expected Tongue
My very first forum I ever tried it was phpbb 2 but I found it too complicated as at the time I didn''t know squat about forums, coding and such. Then I tried Smf and stayed with it cos I found the updates and installing mods through the Package Manager very easy. After Smf I switched over to Ipb which I found ok, and then I came across Mybb and the rest is history as they say Big Grin
phpBB3, MyBB.
Never own a vBulletin one but I was staff/admin in one.
I was using IPB. I was constantly getting frustrated with the money they kept asking for not only for the yearly renewal but most mods as well. I still have a license but I will never go back. Smile
Well a site with vbulletin was my first start but soon i got hacked by a hacker and so it turned me to the mybb.
I hope this time i am on a good platform.

With Mybb you got nothing to worry in the security departament. It has a solid rep for being very secure.

Yea MyBB is a great piece of software if it comes to what you pay is what you get Tongue.
