Hello all,

im runnning MyBB 1.6 and when i select the Links Checker to run i get this:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /admin/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


I run my forum on shared host and below is my .htaccess file:

Are you the super-admin on your forums? (UID=1)

The SEO plugin seem to be conflicting with the Links Checker, i will make some test and tell you my findings...
yes, i checked an i saw that i am super-admin, unless you show me a way to check it again.

I dont have SEO plugin, here is my list of plugins:

If you look at the .htaccess content in the first post you will see a section containing at the beginning "# MyBB "search engine friendly" URL rewrites" and at the end "SetEnv SEO_SUPPORT 1".

So this show that at some point you used that SEO plugin but forgot to replace the previous .htaccess file afterward.

If you just replace this file, the Links Checker should work without any issues.

Here is the new htaccess, i comment the hole block but im still getting the same error Sad

So the plugin is working, but i did not found out why you cannot access it from your AdminCP!

When you are in the Tools section and click the link there in the left panel , this is where you get the error, right?
