I'm looking for a way to allow users to choose which group they would like to be in upon registration. An option I'm looking for is to show the user a list of chosen groups. For example, I'd only like to the user to join group A or group B - they cannot see group C or D.
There is an option in the "groups" that allow a member to choose to be part of that group, in Mybb versions 1.6.1 and over...
Just go in your Administration Panel and edit the group you want to give access to.
