Update :

I have intensively tested the plugin on MyBB 1.6 forums and found no issues.

This could be caused by mod_security still enabled on a server even with a .htaccess file trying to disable it. Shared Hosting providers could be responsible for this.

If this is the case, you can try to ask your webhosting technical support to "whitelist" your domain to bypass mod_security.
